Asda Haul!

Garnier Skin Naturals Caffeine Eye Roll-on £9.97
I'm not a morning person by any means, which means that I usually look a state for going to work. I also get dark circles which makes things 10 times worse. The combination of the liquid inside and the metal roller ball gives a lovely, cooling effect. So far I like it!

L'Oreal Color Infallible Eyeshadow in Goldmine £6.98
I was really just looking for anything to buy by the time I picked this up. There's not much I can really say, apart from the colour is lovely.

NSPA Passion Fruit Fragrance Body Mist £3.00
I have to admit, NSPA's packaging drew me in on it's own. I've never owned a body mist and I think this will be great for a Summer scent. I love fruity smells.

NSPA Raspberry Rich Body Butter £3.00
Taking care of the skin on my body is something I neglect, but love the idea of. I find that I never have the time when getting ready to let a body butter/moisturiser sink in. I've used this twice since I bought it so I'm getting there!

NSPA Grapefruit Shower & Bath Gel £3.00
Shower gels are one of my favourite things. There's nothing better than washing yourself with something that smells gorgeous. This one is yummy, and actually smells better than the one I usually get from The Body Shop.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution £3.00
Since buying my first bottle of Bioderma Micelle Solution, I have become a bit obessed with the whole idea of micellar waters. I've seen this one on a lot of beauty blogs and people seem to like it. Who can resist a bit of hype? Not me!

Nivea Lip Butter in Raspberry Rosé £1.99
After losing my gorgeous Nivea Caramel Cream lip butter (how it happened I will never know), I vowed I had to get another one. I had a look for it whilst perusing the cosmetic aisles in Asda, but unfortunately, Caramel Cream wasn't there. This was the next best thing. It smells divine!

Maybelline The Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara in Black £6.00
I haven't bought a new mascara in a while, and this was the first one I picked up. Not that I need a new one as I already have loads. I have to say I am loving this mascara so far, so keep your eyes peeled for a review.

Garnier Skin Naturals Ultra Lift Eye Cream £8.97
I've recently given myself a bit of a fright and decided it was time to start using eye creams. I'm only 21 and don't have any signs of ageing (I should bloody hope not at such an age), but I'm thinking ahead for my future skin, and the truth is, I'm scared of ageing skin. As this is my first one I can't compare it to anything else, so if you guys have any recommendations, let me know.

L'Oreal True Match Foundation in Rose Ivory £9.98
I can never resist trying out a new foundation, and this is one that I've been wanting to try for a little while. I haven't purchased a whole lot of L'Oreal products, but everything I have tried I've pretty much enjoyed. I'm forever on the search for my perfect Holy Grail foundation - could this be it?

All of the products above are available either in-store or online at Asda.

Crabtree & Evelyn Shimmer Lipgloss in Raspberry Pink

Hiya lovelies!
I hope you all had a great Bank Holiday long weekend. I'm back at work tomorrow, but I can't really complain as my last day was on Wednesday. Today I'm doing a review of a lip product from Crabtree & Evelyn. I've only known the brand for their beautifully-scented hand washes, so when I seen this new release on www.escentual.com, I couldn't help myself. You can find it on www.crabtree-evelyn.co.uk aswell, where it is included in a 4 for 3 deal. Crabtree & Evelyn describes this gloss as being "ultra-hydrating" with a "moisture rich formulation". Keep reading to see my thoughts!

Crabtree & Evelyn Shimmer Lipgloss in Raspberry Pink is a medium pink shimmery lip gloss with lighter pink flecks of glitter. It sells for £8.60 and contains 3.2g/0.11oz of product. It smells absolutely divine: a fruity, sweet scent, which is a bit raspberry-ish, believe it or not. There are two other shades in the line: Honey Glace and Apricot Orange. I can only wonder if they each have an individual scent. Containing botanical oils and shea butter amongst other natural ingredients, it gives a lovely sparkle AND keeps your lips feeling soft at the same time. The formula is lightweight and comfortable to wear, and application is easy peasy. You can hardly feel the gloss on your lips. On my lips (bearing in mind the colour of them naturally), it shows as a shimmery sheen with not much in the way of colour pay-off. The doe foot applicator allows you to apply on the go without having to think about it. Doe foots are my favourite kind of lip product applicator so props to C&E! The product sports beautiful packaging, both on the outer box and the actual lipgloss tube, which are adorned with flowers. The only slightly negative point (if you even see it as that) I can make about this gloss is the short wear time. It lasts just over an hour but the product fades quite a bit throughout this period of time.

Overall, I have enjoyed wearing this lipgloss and think it's generally quite lovely!
Have you tried any Crabtree & Evelyn lip products?

Hope you've all had a fab weekend. Today I'll be talking about a new subscription beauty box on the market - the BeautecoBox. Launched only recently, the box contains 5 products ranging from beauty to lifestyle samples. You can cancel your subscription at any time if you find a particular month's box just isn't your taste. They also include a little 'menu' which gives you product info and discount codes for some of the brands - Bonus! There is still a week left until May's box is no longer available, so if you like what you see in this post, you can grab your own! I chose Box #3, which includes products from Anatomicals, Dr Bragi, Melvita and Mitchell & Peach.

Instagram Update #7

Hiya lovelies!
It's just a quick wee post today, as I haven't had time lately to properly review any products. I've just hit 10,000 blog views, which I am absolutely ecstatic about! Thank you all so much for your continued support. I really appreciate you guys taking the time out to read my blog. :) Hope you've all made the most of the great weather this weekend. I took my daughter out to the swingpark earlier and then took her for lunch, so I've had a nice day. If you want to follow me on Instagram, my username is @naomiicarol.

Betrousse Beauty Box

Hello you gorgeous people!
I was contacted recently by a French-based beauty box company called Betrousse and asked if I would like to receive one of their Beauty Boxes* to review. Of course, I jumped at the opportunity as I am already a sucker for a good beauty box. There's nothing better than a surprise, and an awesome one at that. My box came nicely-packaged as you will see in the photos below, and contained an absolute goldmine of fab beauty products.

The concept of Betrousse is simple - every month there is a different themed box which can range from cosmetics to health products. The box I received was 'Glitz & Glamour' which is all about combatting Winter skin issues. Obviously, we're well past Winter now, but the weather here can still be harsh and cold, even in May. The products inside are supposed to help you on your way to lovely, glowing skin, which I am seriously lacking.

JĀSÖN Normalizing Shampoo
250ml
£7.29

MakeBelieve Beauty Shimmer Lip Gloss
15ml
£10

Tulecos Tonifying Oil
50ml
£33

Fair Naturally Mango & Safflower Body Moisturiser
200ml
£3.99

Benta Berry G-1 Exfoliating Facial Cleanser
30ml
£14

Overall, I was incredibly happy with my first ever Betrousse box. I cannot thank them enough for being so kind and sending me one. I'm especially excited about the lip gloss and body moisturiser! What makes this box so unique is the size of the products - they are all full-size products so you can actually get tons of use out of them. I've yet to come across a beauty box company that boasts all full-size products. If you're interesting in getting your own Betrousse box, visit www.betrousse.co.uk/ or follow them on Twitter for updates.

Have a lovely day! :)
