L-R: Jungle eyeshadow, Teach Me Tiger eyeshadow, Lollipops & Roses eyeshadow, Purple Hills eyeshadow

MUA Power Pout Lip Tint + Balm

Hiya lovelies!
Today's review is on the MUA Power Pouts, which have just been released in the past week. These are selling for £3.00 each, so you can try at least one without breaking your bank. They are very similar to the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains in terms of packaging, formulation and the actual product. There are six shades in the range and I bought three of them to test out and review. MUA's website described these guys as "a lip treatment with colour intensity that relieves dry, cracked lips providing immediate moisturisation." You do get colour from these, but it is by no means intense. Broken Hearted is a raspberry, Irreplaceable is pinky-violet and Justify is a orangey-red.

The product is comfortable on the lips and feels very emollient, which is lovely. Another great thing is that instead of a separate lip balm on one end and a tint on the other, the Power Pouts have been rolled into one! This makes them quick and easy to use, and practical. The only drawback I found with these is that they don't last very long on the lips. At the very most, for me, they will last an hour, and that's without eating and drinking. Re-appylying is a doddle though.

Buy your own Power Pout here.
Overall, I do like the Power Pouts and am happy with my purchase.

Have you tried these yet? Which shades do you have?

RMK Cleansing Balm

Hello lovelies!
I hope you all had a great weekend! For me, I had too much to drink on Saturday and was subsequently hungover all day on Sunday. Classy! Apart from that, I didn't really do much. I cannot wait to pass my driving test so I can take my daughter out somewhere special at the weekend. There is literally nowhere to go (with the exception of a swingpark) where I live. Boo.

Anyway, enough rambing from me. Today I'm bringing you a quick review of a product I received in March's Birchbox, which I have quickly fallen head over heels for. RMK is a Japanese make-up & skincare brand which has been around since 1997. You cannot buy their products from the official website, but you can find it on places like I will be absolutely gutted when this runs out, because it generally retails for £29! Ouch.

I take a pea-sized amount of the balm, apply to the face and then emulsify with water. The balm has a lovely calming, rose scent which I love. It is non-greasy feeling and turns a white colour when you are massaging it in. After my first use, I instantly liked what I was seeing. My skin looked smoother, more radiant and it seemed to have a kind of visual blur effect. After cleansing, I apply my Body Shop Vitamin E cream and my skin feels lovely and soft! I would highly recommend this product and will be purchasing a full-size once I run out of this one.

Have you tried this product? Which cleanser do you use?

Etsy is one of my favourite sites to browse through. I could literally sit there for hours and look at all the cute, handmade goodness. You can grab some real bargains, connect with others and even start your own shop. I was thinking of learning to make handmade jewellery, but I need to research supplies first of all. Today I'm showing you the items on my favourites that I want in my life. Warning: skulls everywhere.

1. Nirvana lyrics t-shirt / 2. Ceramic black skull mug
3. Swarovski star stud earrings / 4. Shooting stars earrings
5. Day of the dead skull earrings / 6. Multicolour sugar skull + cross bracelet
7. Tiny cream skull bracelet / 8. Adjustable two skull bangle
9. Kurt Cobain t-shirt / 10. Zelda Triforce lamp

Do you use Etsy? What's on your wishlist?
